Wife Pregnant - Any advantage of responding to MR partially ?

I received my PER on 26 Jan 2015. It was applied from USA.
So the VO in all probability would be CPC-Ottawa.

Now, the spouse and I are expecting our first baby in the last week of April 2015.
We plan to update the VO about the pregnancy/baby after receiving MR.

Is there any advantage in us responding to MR with just my medical tests and spouse's tests with the exclusion of XRay?
Or is it better to respond to MR for all 3 of us after baby is born?

(If I respond in advance to MR,I know eventually I would have to get wife's XRay and baby's medicals done too)

You have to wait for MR . After getting it go for medicals and skip her xray part. The DMP will mention about her expected date on the form. They will accordingly send the next forms after delivery.
After delivery rush and make newborn passport and send the relevant forms across with the fees.

Hi,

same case with me, i recieved PER 9-Jan-15 and my wife is pregnant but her expected date of delivery is on September 2015 because she's just only 1 month pregnant. It means we can proceed for medical if ever MR will be recieve on march/april and only the balance is the XRAY of my wife in which we will wait until september of this year? Is there any other option with this, so we can have Visa before her delivery? I want her to give birth in canada, is it possible?

HI DEMS..

WE BOTH ARE IN EXACTLY SAME SITUATTION... WE ARE ALSO EXPECTING ON SEPTEMBER 2015.

visa will be valid for one year from the date of medical. my plan is as follows.

1. INFORM VISA OFFICE AFTER RECEIVING PER.
2. COMPLETE MEDICAL EXCEPT X RAY.
3. AFTER DELIVERY. INCLUDE BABY NAME AND COMPLETE MEDICAL.

I have also planned to go first alone to settle everything there. as things will be more difficult to manage if i go with new born baby immediately. i will take my spouse and child after 6 month completion.

keep in touch...

Best of luck man. Have you received PER yet?
