Wife landed in Canada, but did she get all correct papers?

Hello guys
Great news is that me and my wife are finally together. Much thanks to this message board for your help

Only thing I am worried about, when she was going through immigration she said she did not receive any papers.
With her she had 2 copies of that form that they send to you with the visa in your passport. The forms on which it states that she is sponsored, coming to the following city, sponsored by me etc.

Visa officer stamped them, she signed and she got to keep 1 copy while officer got the other one.
Is this all she was supposed to get or are we missing something?

I am assuming you are talking about her COPR (confirmation of permanent residency). Yes, that is all she should have from her landing experience. You can take that and her passport to now get a SIN and health card, so on and so forth.

Yup that paper is all you need. But that paper is VERY IMPORTANT. Not only initially to get SIN, health cared, etc but also down the road to apply for citizenship and even later to get your old age pension. Put is somewhere safe.
