Hi All,

This post is a sequel to the post that I posted in Express Entry forum highlighting my experiences in getting PR. My Initial post would probably be more useful for someone aiming for PR but here I wish to inform that my wife been granted Visit Visa short while back.

This forum helped me a lot in proving how difficult it is to get visit visa and how long we need to be separated from our better half. This forum also helped me to plan to reach this stage.

Anyone interested in my experiences can read this post of mine http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/my-journey-to-pr-t414209.0.html

Her Summary

She is from India , 22 yrs of age , passed Final yr MBBS last month

Coming to the application details

> Application applied online mentioning that she is in USA on H4B
> Booked refundable round trip tickets from residing city in USA to Canadian border US city
> Reserved Car at Canadian border US city
> Mentioned that she travelled to two south east Asian countries in last few years
> She is a joint account holder with her dad, submitted last 6 mos account statements. Account has lot of transactions of reasonable amounts, but balance is less than RS.10,000
> Submitted Fixed Deposit copy of RS.6,00,000 again held jointly with her dad
> Submitted $3000 Travellers Cheque which are on my name as I am her supporter
> Submitted my Employer Letter from USA
> Submitted my USA Payslip
> Submitted our travel plan which says that we intend to visit Toronto and another major tourist attraction in Canada
> Booked Hotels for a week and submitted reservation copies
> Submitted Marriage Certificate

Probably I guess having USA dependent visa could be a major cause in this success.

Sumanth

Congratulations!!
I read your post on the Express Entry section. Very nice read.
In case you haven't noticed, New Delhi is processing spousal sponsorship applications in as less as 2 months now. Your wife might not have to wait (for PR) as long as you'd have thought.
