Hi

I am the primary applicant. My wife do not have birth certificate. We are trying get it, but as we are here in canada, facing some difficulties in getting it done in India.

Is there any solution ?

You can apply a "date of birth certificate" (not birth certificate) in Indian consulate.

Here is the application form for toronto consulate. They will charge you $20. You need to give them a self-addressed stamped envelope. Please read the web site for up to date information.
