Hello, I'd like to start by saying thanks to everyone on the forums for being so incredibly awesome!
So after months of stressing, filling out papers, waiting, getting sent back because we forgot to sign something, and doing it all again then waiting some more. My wife has been accepted as my sponsor and our application has been linked too our account (woot!). I know our journey is far from over, but I can't help but be excited.
That being said we've been moved onto the next step in the process. CIC sent an email to my wife saying she was accepted, and that sometime within the next 5 business days I (the applicant) will be sent instructions to fill out a Schedule A Background Declaration. Cool and all, but it's been nearly 6 business days now. No messages on MyCIC and no emails, however my application did update to say "Your Action Is Required" under details.
I know its a little premature to freak out, and I'm not. I was simply wondering how exactly I'm going to have to do things so I can get it done as soon as possible when the message does arrive. (We did my application on paper and sent it in, linking it later if that matters) For example, I'm we're required to mail in the Schedule A, I could complete it early get it printed off and enveloped and just wait for mailing instructions.
Or maybe its incredibly simple and can be completed before they even send the email with instructions. Though I'd be more uncomfortable doing this and would probably just wait.
Anyway thanks for reading and taking the time to answer my questions, to be honest this is more to just calm my nerves because the whole process has me wired.
