I sent the application for sponsoring my mum's Canadian immigration in Dec. 2007. I have not heard any news yet.

My husband will relocate to the States b/c his compay's relocation. Therefore, I go to move to States in this May too.

In order to keep my sponsorship when I am living overseas, I have asked a couple of immigration law firms, there are many different responses.

Two law firms with good reputations have told me" yes, I am able to keep it".

But one of the law firm told me:I am not able to add my husband as co-sponsor. This firm only charges me 500$, if I ask them to handle my case.

Another one told me: "Yes, it is possible to add my husband as co-sponsor now".This firm charge me 2000$, if I sign up with them to take care of my case.

Why there are two completely different responses here? Could anyone explain this to me?
Beyond, lots of law firms/constants told me that "there is no way for me to keep the sponsorship when I am overseas". well, so confusing, who is correct, who is not?
