It's very hard to be separated from the ones you love. In our visa office, they do not unify familes who are separated from each other quickly. They pass the ones who are actually living together first, much quicker. The ones who are actually separated can take years to process. this 6 month avg processing time bullsh*t, is just words.
I applied one week after someone who is LIVING there...they have the PPR after one month of file review, no interview and are almost done. As of yesterday, my file has been approved since April 8, it was 'received' in their office on may 21, we did not get notice of that file being received on HIS email until june 16th [one month later almost], and with that email they said they received it May 28, one week AFTER they told the minister they received it. AND they still have not reviewed our file...so that's four months since I was approved.
Funny how a week before me, and the file is cleared, processed, ppr issues...but my case has not yet even been looked at.
I submitted a good kilo of evidence and support. Letters from our family, our friends, co-workers. Phone bills for the whole year showing the calls both him calling me, me calling him. Emails from him to me, and me to him, over the course of our relationship. Receipts of the shabka [gold] he gave me, photos of our time together, with his family and in our vacation, holiday.....I cant even remember what else I submitted....and yet they have not even reviewed the file.
I have seen people submit nothing and get approved sooner - really I don't know what to say, and I am utterly disgusted right now.
I requested the CAIPS as I hadn't heard from the MP until yesterday - I will get that soon, and really know what the file is saying.
