I submitted my application (for me and wife) and an hour later I got a message saying my application is ineligible for express entry. What is the reason for this?

My Bio
I have 4 years work experience in class A NOC 2171
Age 29 years
Funds getting to Canada $40,0000
Education - Masters ..I have not got it verified as its from a US institution. I am getting it assessed now. Will this make a difference?
IELTS General training
Listening -7
Reading - 7.5
Speaking - 8
Writing 6

My wife
Has 2 years work experience in a Class A NOC
Age 27 years
Education - Masters ..We are getting this assessed as well now.
IELTS General training
Listening -9
Reading - 9
Speaking - 9
Writing 7.5

We both don't have relatives or a job in Canada.

Any advise is much appreciated.

i hope you are using this tool.
try again and under the level of education put master's degree
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp
4) What is your level of education?

Enter the highest level of education for which you:

  • earned a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate or
  • had an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you did your study outside Canada. (ECAs must be from an approved agency, in the last five years)
Note: a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate must either have been earned at an accredited Canadian university, college, trade or technical school, or other institute in Canada. Distance learning counts, but only if it made up less than half your study.

under this put "master's degree" OK

The CRS tool does not assess eligibility.

http://onlineservices-servicesenligne.cic.gc.ca/eapp/eapp.do
also for the time being put "master's degree" under this option

If you did not earn a Canadian degree, diploma or certificate, you may need to have your foreign education assessed by an agency approved by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. They must show that it is valid, and equal to a completed Canadian credential.
