Why is it OK/not OK for someone else to complete IMM5659.

OK, so the Document Checklist says:

"To be completed by applicant: ... IMM5669."

This same form does not appear under the "To be completed by sponsor" section of the Checklist.

So why at the top of IMM5669 does it say "Indicate whether you are the principal applicant" or "The spouse, common-law partnerr, or dependent child aged 18 years or older of the principal applicant."

I'm confused...

The same form is used by applicants of other classes of immigration (e.g., economic applicants) where both the principal applicant and the spouse/common-law partner need to complete the form. For spousal applicants, only the principal applicant and dependent child(ren) over 18 need to complete the form.

How about a Live-in Caregiver applicant applying for PR. Does her dependants need to submit IMM5669 too? or just for her? Btw, her dependants are not in Canada. Thank you
