I would like to take a step back and discuss/think why we are all going through this...

Shall we all list our Pros and Cons (mostly Pros) in why we have all decided to goto Canada..

We may actually learn things that some of us might not know and could be a great thread to share experiences with people already in Canada and how real the Canadian dream really is ?

Lets not try to discourage anyone but you are more than welcome to share any experiences information and more..

thanks

Pros (I'm strictly talking from my personal experience) :
-luckily I had a job when I arrived here and I made connections at my workplace therefore I rarely feel isolated or lonely.
I improved my English, I became more confident as I learned more and got positive feedback at my job.
Nevertheless the first 6 months were cruel, adjusting to the Canadian working style seemed sometimes impossible (still does now and then lol).
-learning to be more tolerant and understanding towards other cultures
-being able to save some money and not having financial headaches
Cons :
- the nerve-wrecking Express Entry and not knowing what's gonna happen with you in the near future
- the weather (winter is awful and depressing)
- hypocrisy (don't wanna go into details but I totally agree that Canada makes you or breaks you).

pros:
-good life and good standard of living
-less pollution ( compared to India).
-good education
-good healthcare benefits.
cons
-difficult to find job without knowing people. need friends or relatives/references to find a job.
-recruiters dont understand talent/past experience.
-expensive country
-some cities dont even have public transportation so car is a must ofcourse there r exceptions.
-expensive education(again compared to India)
-recruiters and recruiting companies are not professional and only follow a check lists.
-ofcourse the weather is bad
-Immigration was easy but with express entry it is more difficult and unclear.

above are just my personal pros and cons and are solely based on my experiences other people may have better experience. I personally feel Canada is just a tad bit better than third world countries and not a completely developed country like US.
