Who signs the Schedule A (Background form) for spouse?

I am adding my spouse as a dependent to my PR application. I have to send Schedule A: Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) for my spouse. In the last page where it says "Declaration by the Applicant", who will sign the declaration? Principal applicant or Spouse?

Kindly note that schedule a form and additional family information form is filled by both the principal applicant and spouse separately.

As far as your question is concerned, I think that the schedule A of your spouse will be signed by your spouse.
