Would appreciate if anyone could clarify this to me.
I'm a work permit holder and submitted my TRV app inland in Jan, traveled out of Canada now and still waiting for passport request. I'm an immediate family member of Canadian citizen (my child), and also has a full time job in Canada.
I got really confused when reading this webpage https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/service-delivery/coronavirus/travel-restrictions.html#travel-restriction-exemptions
"Immediate family members of Canadian citizens, persons registered as Indians or permanent residents do not require any written authorization from IRCC.“
And also:
"If the client previously submitted their TRV application and it is currently in progress with IRCC, they will need to contact IRCC by submitting a request through the web form, and must include the keywords “COVID-19 PHAC” and the PHAC authorization letter as an attachment."
So I did submit webforms to IRCC requesting to expedite my application and provided my job offer letter, paystub, proof of relationship and Canadian citizenship of my child. But do I need an authorization from PHAC, too? Thanks!
