Hello,

I am from Karachi Pakistan, I am a professional member of ACCA and acquired my bachelors degree in business administration. As per online assessment results for immigration under FSW program, I satisfy the eligibility criteria under the NOC of corporate finance manger. I want to file my visa application without the help of a visa consultant hence need a few information from this forum.

As per my understanding, ECA is required only for the academic qualification and not for the professional one . I would appreciate if some one here can tell me which organization is designated for assessment of degree in business administration. Further, I wanted to ask as I hold a degree along with a professional qualification, which qualification will add more points in my visa application and for which state I shall apply for immigration.

Thank you

ECA is required for all foreign (Outside Canada) qualifications whether professional or academic.

WES gives 4 years Canadian bachelor equivalency to ACCA membership. Not sure about BBA though since it depends on the length of program and university too. In my opinion, you should be good to claim points for "Two or more Bachelor qualifications". This requires you to have atleast one qualification equivalent to 3 years Canadian Bachelor (In your case, it's ACCA membership) + Any other recognized qualification worth atleast one year or more in Canada.

If you have atleast 67 out of 100 points in eligibility criteria and have around 440-450 CRS, you are good to get an invitation in the upcoming draw (as per current trends) without going for any provincial nomination. PR application is for whole country not just any specific province. Once you are PR, you are free to live and work anywhere. Quebec province has some exceptions though.

Best of Luck!
