Dear all,

I would kindly like to ask you which is the province that can accept me and my fiance easier for immigration based on the following qualifications:

I qualify for:
- The National Occupational Classification (NOC) - 4168 Program officers unique to government
- IELTS Over all Band Score 6.5
- Master Graduate (UK), Bachelor (USA)
- Age 24

My fiance:
- NOC 1123 Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations
- IELTS Over all Bankd Score 5.5
- Bachelor Graduate (KOSOVO)
- Age 25

Also, note that we are planning to apply under Canadian Experience Class.

Best wishes,

For CEC you must have 12 months of Canadian experience. If you or your fiance had worked here, it makes you eligible.

We both have more than 2 years working experience. But which province you think suits us best for application based on our professional qualifications?

Tringa, I'm not sure I understand your question.

You can apply for CEC no matter what province you are in (Except Quebec).

Maybe you are talking about the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)?

Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is a Federal program not tied to any particular province. If you have 1 year of Canadian work experience in a skilled category (along with other requirements such as language proficiency) you are eligible to apply. You can find the full details at CIC's website:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/

Another approach to immigration is Provincial Nominee Program which is initiated by provinces and handed off to CIC at a later point. That is not the topic of this forum though. You would want to ask your question there:

Am I the only one who is wrong? or everyone else is getting her question wrongly.
I think they are neither in Canada nor they had any work experience in Canada. They are asking for applying in CEC for immigration from outside of Canada which is not possible in CEC.
Please original poster correct me if I am wrong.

Dear all,
Thank you very much for the answers.

No, I dont live in Canada and never lived before. I live in Kosovo. I
know that we have to apply through CEC. What I am asking is to inform me which province we should apply to immigrate based on our professional qualifications?

To make it clear in the generic application for immigration to canada there is a question to which province you intend to immigrate, expect to Quebec? In order to answer to this question I need to write the name of Canadian province, based on the previous mentioned qualifications, which province should I choose?

best wishes,

Hi,
Well one can apply under CEC program only if he/she has 12 months experience in Canada.

So, for you its not possible. Regarding, the province that suits you the best, I guess you should be posting this question in the Provincial Nomination Program Immigration section.

I dont know why you are saying," I know that we have to apply through CEC." Probably, your are confused between CIC and CEC. Please check again.

Hope this helps!!!
