Which portal to use gcKey or Ircc portal for Visitor Visa for visiting nephew

Hi all,

Can my uncle apply for visitor visa through the new IRCC portal or has to be raised via the GC key. As he is not immediate family, will the application be rejected if it is raised using the new IRCC portal? Are only certain scenarios covered by the new IRCC portal?? please advice

Follow the prompts for the correct forms. He is not immediate or extended family. Is this your nephew - sibling's child? Or a cousin?
