Hi peeps. I'm sure you get this question asked here a lot, but my situation is a bit unusual. I graduated with a masters degree from the University of Manitoba and then moved to Alberta. I've been working in Alberta for more than a year now under an NOC1111 job. I applied for an FSW-inland application in Nov 2020 (AOR = Nov 03, 2020), but I'm getting impatient seeing the application not budge for the past 19 months.
I qualify for CEC, but it doesn't look like IRCC is even prioritizing those anymore. Figured I might as well put in a PNP application since those are being finalized fairly quickly. My PGWP expires in Dec 2023, so I feel like I'm in a race against time.
Do I even qualify for the Alberta PNP considering I graduated from a Manitoba DLI? I know the obvious option would be to move back to Manitoba and work there for a full year, but I'm already established in Alberta and have a lease agreement, friends and a job here. So it will be difficult for me to move.
Just seeking some advice from fellow FSW-inlanders who got sick and tired of the waiting and uncertainty.
