Hello,

Right now I am so confused with what to choose; NOC 0111 or NOC 1112 as a corporate treasury coordinator.
My main duties were (in a simple version)
Assisting plan and forecasting Cash flow, Cash Management, Financing - bank borrowing, Foreign Exchange Risk management and Administrative
Budget control.
The duration of work was little more than 1 year.
I was leaning towards to NOC 1112 - Financial analyst at first, but when I looked at the job descriptions of NOC 0111, it was more accurate and close to what I did back. However I'm quite concerned with the fact that my work experience is too short to apply under NOC 0111 although in the example titles under NOC 0111, there is Assistant Treasurer - finance.

Should I focus more on what CIC says on the descriptions of the job, then it would be NOC 0111?
Or to you who are reading my post now, does it seem more like to choose NOC 1112?

I would greatly appreciate your help on replying to me.
Thank you all in advance.

I am seeing it as 0111 also since there is good chance for you to apply and nothing to loose as in any case 1112 has been capped already.

Friends,

I am slightly confused between two NOC codes (1112 and 0111) for my current employment. I work in an investment bank and lead a risk management team of around 15 employees. 1112 is for financial analysts and 0111 is for financial managers.

Also, I was a software developer earlier for 8 years, but this experience ended in 2015. Thus, to summarize, after graduating in 2007....

2007 - 2015 : software developer (confirmed 2174)
2015 - 2016 : portfolio manager (confirmed 1112)
2016 - 2018 : manager (confused between 1112 and 0111)

Three questions:
1. Should I use 1112 or 0111 for current job?
2. For the current job, I won't get roles and responsibilities in my reference letters. That said, does it make sense to keep "Primary Noc" code as something (such as 2174) for which I have good documentation?
3. Is it okay to keep an old Noc code (where I last worked in 2015) as primary Noc?

It should be noted that I did masters in 2012-13 in finance, so is it okay to have primary Noc aligned to the most recent education?
