Hi All,

we are landing in Toronto early in June 2015. we are total 3 members(Myself, my wife and a son(2 years old).

Looking your help to understand initially which insurance should i opt for my family.

My friends bought health insurance from Insufin Insurance in Toronto and they were totally satisfied.

Why would you need insurance if you're landing? for a period while you receive OHIP?
 
Hi! Yes there's going to be a waiting period of 3 months after you land. What you should go for is a private family plan that will cover your son for free. Family rate means that your rate will be based on the oldest family member x2.

The insurance calculator can help you find quotes from different companies to compare. Once you see a few quotes you like talk to an agents to make sure that all the things you want included are covered:

Does it make sense that we buy insurance from India itself for first 3 months. May be icicipru
