Hi Everyone,
I made a profile in express entry and my score is 359. I asked my employer to apply for an LMIA. Can my employer apply for LMIA for Permanent Residentship if i qualify under CEC.

Yes, he can.

Employer can select the option PR stream with no processing fee in the below LMIA application form.

http://www.servicecanada.gc.ca/eforms/forms/esdc-emp5593%282014-12-004%29e.pdf

I hope you have a work permit till the time your PR gets processed.

Yes i do have a work permit thats valid till June 2016. and is there any condition as to how long should i be working with this employer.

There are tow types of LMIA

1. LMIA for PR application( free of cost)
2. LMIA to extend work permit and also you can apply for PR($1000 CAD)

In both cases you will get 600 points and the first one i guess is 10-14 days processing time and the second one takes 3 months. But for both your employer needs to submit or undergo same process.

No. Once you get PR you will be free man. You may move anywhere you want.

Thanks IntoCanada and Prashanth 85.
I have one last question guys my current job title is Lead Rental Consultant and NOC6211 make $22/hr and i am in Alberta, so I am not sure which LMIA can they apply for high Skilled or low skilled, high wage or low wage.

Check the median wage for your NOC code and then decide which LMIA you have to apply. And if you wan to apply for high wage then set you salary slightly above median wage.

@Intocanada that link that you sent me has two options
1)permanent resident visa application (this means you will hire the foreign national only after their immigration application is processed and the permanent resident visa is issued). This option does not have a processing fee.
2)work permit application and permanent resident visa application (this means you will hire the foreign national as a temporary foreign worker before or while their permanent residence application being processed). This option requires paying a processing fee.
Which one should i choose coz doesn't apply to me as I am already working and the second one i'd have to pay a fee.
