Which is the safest neighbourhood in GTA and why ?

Greetings. I will be moving shortly with my family to Canada.Just wanted to check,which will be the best place to settle down in GTA(Not expensive in terms of housing and good school and recreational facilities)

Is Whitby a good place to bring up my kids ? I was checking MLS,and found the houses much cheaper there, in comparision to Mississuaga an Brampton.Job market No idea

Toronto is clean, No matter where you live there. make sure your home is not too far from the subway station.
Dont know about kids' schools. ask qorax and other seniors.
