Fellas, This questions is on behalf of my friend. He applied in the last week of January for Citizenship and his file was in process in March and last week he received a letter requesting fingerprinting done and send the results to St. Clair office. He resides in Brampton. Shouldn't his local office be Mississauga? Why fingerprints going to St. Clair.? Does that mean his local office is going to be St. Clair? Brampton comes under Peel Region though. It's kinda strange.
I thought someone might had the same situation, would shed some light on this. If the local office will be Mississauga, when will St. Clair forward the file to local office. When should he call CIC to inquire about if the file is been transferred to local office.
Does this RQ for fingerprints delays the overall process? Any experience, please do share. Much appreciated.
