Hi guys/ gals
First of all, I would like to thank all of you from the bottom of my heart for all the help and encouragement you provided with my PR application process.
I have received my COPR and visa stamped in passport a couple of months back and would be arriving in Toronto in a couple of weeks.
I came to understand that it is advisable to take up an insurance plan for the first 3 months of stay in Canada till the Ontario health insurance gets activated. I have a couple of doubts that I would like to get clarified before finalizing on an insurance plan.
1. Is it recommended to take up the insurance plan before or after arriving in Canada.
2. A couple of insurance firms that i shortlisted after doing research online that provide travel insurance plans for Canada are Religare and Manulife. Which would you all recommend. Another option is also welcomed.
Hope to get a response from you at the earliest.
Thanks
