Which country ‘s Police certificates do I need?

I am wondering if I need to get police certificate from Canada.

Currently I live in Japan and I have been living in Japan for about 20 years.
I lived in Canada for 2 years more than 20 years ago.

I thought I need police certificate from any countries I lived in more than 6 months.
But as I read “steps to apply “ , i understand that I need police certificate only from Japan.

Am I correct?
I appreciate your advice!

Canadian PCCs are not required upfront (unless requested later on) as IRCC can access the information themselves.

If you were 18 years or older at the time, yes. If not, no.
