Hello, my husband will sponsor me. I am already in Canada and we married here.
I was born in Switzerland but I am a Spanish citizen.
I have therfore two birth certificates. One issued by the Swiss authorities and one issued by the Spanish Cosulate in Switzerland.

Since my Swiss birth certificate is missing my second last name, since due to Swiss law at the time of my birth didn't allow for a second family name, just one, I would like to submit my spanish birth certificate because it has the accurate information on it.
The Swiss also changed the last name of my mother, which is not correct, because according to spanish law she has other two last names.

So will the Spanish birth certificate issued by the Spanish Consulate in Switzerland be accepted by IRRC or am I obliged by canadian law to submit the swiss certificate because this is the country I was born into?
I do not hold any Swiss citizenship. On my only Spanis passport both last names are shown.

I just want to avoid the canadian IRRC to issue a resident permit with only one last name instead of both.

Thank you in advance for your reply.
