Hi

We are all finished with our application now but are a bit unsure of where to send it? We are both living in Denmark and therfor understand we have to apply outland through the London Office (right?), but it seems like we still have to send everything to Ontario?

Correct. You send the complete application to Mississauga. See here.

Send via a courier. Also state on the envelope it is an Outland application. For example if you are married then write this on the envelope:

Sponsorship: Spousal - OUTLAND
Case Processing Centre – Mississauga
2 Robert Speck Parkway,
Suite 300
Mississauga, ON
L4Z 1H8
Why write Outland? Because Mississauga also processes inland applications and there has been cases of officers mistaken outland applications for inland.

Thanks for the answer.

Another questions then. Do we just sent all the forms in one envelope or should we make to (inside one) with the sponsor and sponsored spouse in two different ones?

Some people on this forum have said they included 3 envelopes inside their application envelope

One for sponsor forms and supporting documents
One for applicant forms and supporting documents
One for relationship proof, photos etc

However personally I just followed the guide and the checklist which does not say it is necessary to do that. Particularly as once CIC receives your application they will reorganize it as they see fit.
I just included everything in one envelope and in the order specified in the document checklist. I am still waiting on PR however I received Sponsor Approval and have had no issues so far.

Hi, I saw that you mentioned to specify what type of immigration it is (outland or inland)

I wrote : Outside of Canada Sponsorship .. (and then the rest of the address as followed on the CIC website)
what i meant was outland .. that won't be a problem though would it ?

No that is fine, the keyword is Outland, you wrote Outside so the officer should know what you mean. You can always try and contact CIC and see if they are treating it as an Outland application.

A lot of people do that or put color tabs and things like that when all the officers probably just pull it all apart and leave it in a pile. Unless it says to do something like that, I wouldn't bother personally. It just makes extra work for you and the VO probably just changes it to what works for them. I just paperclipped each page of each form together ( i.e all of IMM-1344. IMM 5669, etc.) into their own piles, not all together with one huge clip and put it in one envelope with all my pictures and other proofs.

Thanks for responding to Blacknirvana. I was about to ask the same thing. I do have an extended question however. You mentioned that people have sent the stuff either in separate envelopes or like you, all in one package. Now, I am wondering if my wife and I send original things to the VO, would they send them back to us?

Examples:
- marriage certificate
- love letters
- post cards
- other memorable items

They may send you back your supporting docs/relationship proof but that is visa office specific. Read the document checklist, it clearly states what needs to be an original document.

For all of the items you listed send photocopies, especially your marriage certificate.
