If you are applying at an office outside Canada

You can find information on fee payment methods at the website of the visa office (immigration applications) or the Canadian embassy, high commission or consulate (proof of citizenship applications) responsible for your area. Visa and consular offices cannot accept receipts for fees paid in Canada.

I might not be looking at the right stuff but for some reason i can not find any information on how to pay the fees if I am not in Canada.

Can anyone help me?

Will it be better if I paid online rather than mailing the payment or making a payment in person?

You'll want to select if you're applying at an office in Canada. Follow the instructions and select Mississauga since that is where your app will go initially :)

Yes we also applied outland through Buffalo but you still select need to select Mississauga. We paid online you follow the instructions and print off a copy and include it in your app. Pretty easy :)

Well thank you for the quick reply.

I will do that.

I have another question for you. I also posted it on the forum.

The checklist for all documents, i cant find it.

I found the "Appendix A" for New Delhi
http://www.scribd.com/doc/6825854/E37029-Appendix-A-Checklist

will it be the same for us with the VO in buffalo?

try to take all the guides and checklists directly from the immigration site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/fc.asp#sponsor

focus on ur specific region and give the docs required in ur specific region checklist (maybe New Delhi and Buffalo have the same Appendix A but it does not matter if they do or don't; just focus on ur region, which for u is United States)

as for the fees, first step is to read in the guide how much u need to pay and how to pay in ur situation (outside Canada); 2nd step u'll do the actual payment: if u go on the link i listed here u have on ur right I need to...u will click on pay fees and follow the instructions

it's good to get used with this way of payment; on the day when u apply for citizenship u'll probably pay in the same way ;)

good luck!!
