Hope you guys can help me with this problem. I am sponsoring my wife from Canada. She is currently residing at NY state, USA for study purpose. We are gathering all our documents and now my spouse needs to take 9 photos for the appication. My wife and I are from asia and according to the information guides for our country my spouse's photo must be -
1.taken by a commercial photographer
2. 50 mm x 70 mm (2 inches wide x 2 3/4 inches long) and sized so the height of the face measures between 31 mm
and 36 mm (1 1/4 inches and 1 7/16 inches) from chin to crown of head (natural top of head);
3.bear the name and date of birth of the subject, as well as the name and complete address of the photography
studio;
4. bear the date the photograph was taken;
5.The photographer may use a stamp or handwrite this information. Stick-on labels are unacceptable.
My wife lives in a small city in NY where she is studying in a university. She couldn't any photo lab nearby which is willing to take her picture according to these specifications. Can anyone tell me if there is any suitable place or photo lab that would have a branch in a major city where she can get this type photos taken? She lives nearby a major city where she can go by bus to get these photos taken. If anyone has any experience with this please let me know. It would be a big help. Thanks.
