It is good to know that costco is charging lower dispensing fee, but at the same time costco membership come with a price of $55-$110 annually. Additionally this store is not located everywhere, it is at few locations. Take travel expense and time also in consideration.
Most of the companies where one work have drug cards and with those drug cards, the price to pay for medicines are substentially reduced and the dispensing cost is totally covered.

This post is intended for all the new comers to Canada who take a few months or sometimes more than a year to settle down. Some get jobs with agencies wherein they have no company benefits.
Most of the companies hire on part time basis where too benefits are reduced.

So someone in this situation who has a monthly TTC pass can easily commute and buy prescription drugs for diabetes etc . Next in COSTCO you do not need to have membership card to visit the pharmacy.
