where to apply for second residence?

Hello everyone,

I am currently in Canada living with my girlfriend for a few months. Is it possible as an Visitor from Germany to register my current location as a second residence that I could claim that later on as an official live together with my girlfriend for the 'common in law' application?

Do you mean for immigration? If so, I suggest you post in family sponsorship section of this forum for more responses.

If you're renting, see if the landlord will allow you to sign a roommate agreement.

Get a cell phone and have bills sent to that address. If possible, share a cell phone account with your girlfriend.

If she owns the house, you could sign a co-habitation agreement.
