For the FSW application, is the points total assessed at CIO or at the visa office?

hi Harmony,

The thorough and rigid verification and evaluation are being assessed at your Visa Office. CIO is checking the completion of all the forms that you are required to fill up (including IELTS - if your application is after June 26th, 2010) and also verifying your qualification concerning your NOC in regards with the FSW category that you are applying for.

hope this would help.

Thanks,

Thanks. Actually my Education points are in doubt. If my total points do not add up to 67, will my application be returned by CIO , or
will it still be forwarded to visa office and then refused by the visa office?

Please note that CIO has already charged my credit card for $ 550.

Hi Harmony,

Even CIO already charged your credit card for the application fee of $550, your visa office has always the final judgement with your application. once your application has been placed to 'in process', you will not be able to refund the application fee of $550. Also, once the CIO sent you an AOR advising you to forward your full documentation to your visa office, then, that's the time that you need to work hard for all your supporting documents including all your credntials with your education to attain your desired points you are wishing for.

TIP : If you are in doubt with the points with your education, try to work out your IELTS score to get the highest point ( i.e. 16 points) so that you will be safe with your total score.

Hope this would help.

Thanks,
