where do i sen my application?

hi,
my spouse is on a student visa in the states, he has completed school but isn't working, so i was wondering does he have to return to his country of citizenship to wait on the paper work or can i send it to the canadian embassy in the US and he can come here from the US?

If your spouse is a resident ( student visa ) of USA for more than ONE YEAR and will be continuing there for another year or more, the current country of residence (USA) is good for processing sponsorship. Give the present address and contact details in the forms. You need to submit the completed sponsorship application as specified in the guide, to the Case Processing Center, Mississauga for sponsorship approval. After preliminary approval the PR visa processing will be done in USA.
