Where can I get it stamped?

I applied for a Canada visitor's visa and finished my application this morning (7-12-17). I live in the WI, United States (I attend college here), but I am from India.

1 - How long will the processing take?
2 - Can I drive somewhere instead of sending in my passport?
3 - If yes, can someone take it for me?
4 - How long does it take after you send in your passport?

I applied for a Canada for work permit through TR V . i lives in India presently.

my agent say me once you fly with TRV & at canada border officer will check your all document like visa senction letter , passport copy , LMIA license and after that border officer will grant your TRV to Work Permit.

So,

Is it true method for getting Work Permit ?????

Please help me.
