Where application is going to be spent for spousal sponsorship?

Hi Forum,

My future wife and I are starting to collect documents for me to sponsor her to Canada. My wife is from Russia and I am Canadian. We are doing outland sponsorship. As we collecting those documents, we were wondering where application is going to be spent for spousal sponsorship and so to start collecting original copies at that country. Are those documents going to be sent to Russian or Canada? The other thing we want to know if we need to mail the completed application at all or we can just upload all the information to CIC website when we apply?

The full application must be mailed in. You must mail it to Canada.

Thank you very much! We are just starting this application so not aware of everything. I am going to take all the docs with me to Canada after the wedding. I live 15 minutes from Mississauga

You cannot drop the application off in person. It must be mailed or sent by courier.

Make sure you check the checklist and all forms before you leave to ensure you have everything. You should also note that if she isnt in canada the apps get sent to nova scotia
