Application Submitted to Canada: Nov. 19,2013
Received Notice Sponsorship approved and asked for medical and other docs: Dec.2013
Received Notice informing docs was already sent to Canadian Embassy, Manila: Feb.2014
Received Notice asking for some document NBI Clearance, FBI Clearance for me because Im currently living in California, NNB Clearance , CENOMAR and school records of my eldest son, and payment for Permanent Resident Visa: Oct. 17,2014
Embassy of Canada, Manila Received the docs: Nov.7,2014

Then after that, What's next???
As of today Feb.3,2015 No update from them...were waiting for almost 15 months since we submitted our application

I am currently residing in California but 2 kids are in the Philippines.

As of today Feb.3,2015 No update from them...were waiting for almost 15 months since we submitted our application

I am currently residing in California but 2 kids are in the Philippines.

You can check you ECAS status...what does it say, IN PROCESS or APPLICATION RECEIVED...

If its saying IN PROCESS, then wait for a few weeks more perhaps and you will get a good news....Januray month is a busy month usually becuase of alot of other category also apply this month for PR.

I check my application status on line, it says "In process starting Feb. 17,2015, then days ago the new update is they received Medical Result ( Reassessment of Medical of my children, they didnt required me reassessment since we'd submitted medical exam last Dec. 2013).. Im not sure whats the next step..I hope I will get a good news soon. Thank you very much for the response

Last Week there is another update on line on my application...its shows my current home address and current mailing address.. before only the home address.. Any one did experience this?? Please I want to know what it means and what probably the next step.. thank a lot to all

it doesn't mean anything. it seems to have been a general system update for ECAS. a lot of people reported the same thing. it doesn't have any reflection on what is currently happening with your file.

Everytime I check on line about my status it shows like before "In Process" and also shows "Received Medical".. I dont know how long the processing , it say 14- 17 months for Manila.. and I dont what the arrangement in case they release our visa because my children is in Manila and I am currently living in Los Angeles California. Is there any one the same case with us..please I need some information and idea.. Thank you very much for helping me in advance.

Hello everyone.. I would like to share my happy moments ... received last week a letter from canadian embassy manila informing us that visa to be issued and they asked to send the original passport together my family member who accompanied to go... according to the letter the visa for permanent residence will be expired on Feb. 2016 so I have to use it on before the expiration date...Already sent the original passport and will be waiting to send back to me soon. Is there anyone there have an idea how long it will takes to send baack to me the passport with visa..THANKS EVERYONE!!! GOD BLESS US!!!
