When to enter and leave Canada to complete PR process

Hello,

My PR application is approved and have been given a deadline to enter Canada. After I enter Canada, I plan to give the address of my friend to ship my PR card. Can I leave the country without the card and hv my friend ship it to me so that I can use it to re-enter.

People do this all the time , referred to as a soft landing and then return home to finalise arrangements and CBSA are used to this.

Ensure your friend uses a courier to send you your card and not standard post.

Your PR card plus passport will be important to board a plane destined for Canada not just to enter Canada.
