When to apply for Visa?

Hello Every One... Can any one make me clear that when to apply for Canadian study permit? About what months ago one should apply for the visa? And what time it takes to get "ACCEPTANCE LETTER" from college/ university? Actually I wish to apply for the September 2011's session. And still I haven't applied at the college. So shall I apply for this session, or apply next year?

hi talpur it would take 15 to 20 days to get tha letter of acceptance if u have done your ielts and than more thn 2 mnths by the embassy..........so still plenty of time left to apply for september session bro

Thanks Rao86. Could You tell me about the funds to be shown for studies, I mean Embassy requires certain proofs of funds to see that how you will manage your expanses while stay in canada? Is it necessary to show a FOUR Month old account with there required funds?

yes minium 4 month transaction 1st year fees , 10k living expence of the year and 2 to 3k for air tickets

2k means 2000
3k means 3000

For yearly living expenses its 5 Lakh and for tickets its 1 -2 lakh in indian currency.

but in canadian currency its 10000$ living expenses and 1000$ - 2000$ CAD for air tickets.

Oh That's ok. I have another problem, I have a two years old bank account, but I don't have required funds in that. I will borrow money from my uncle and then put it into my account in a few days. I have sent my documents at college yesterday, so it will take about 1 month to get reply from the college. Eventually my bank statements with required funds will be of 1, 1-1/2 months. Will this put affect on my visa? what should I do? Is there any other way out?

Hi guys,

I have gooten my acceptance letter and will resume september 2011. But i am not clear with application form (imm 1294) question 10. Should i tuition, room and board pension and other i fill in the form be for the first year or for the whole period of study?
