When To Apply for Off Campus Work Permit - Extremely Urgent

I began a Graduate Certificate program in Canada which is normally completed in 8-12 months.

CIC rules is that you must have studied for at least 2 semesters before you can apply for Off Campus work permit. But my University does not offer me summer courses.

So since I have been 5 months in Canada, can I apply for Off Campus Work Permit now? I have only studied for one semster; if not, when can I apply?

All in the house, please assist.

Wait at least 6-months as a rule. But u hv to wait 7-months to apply for off-campus work.
