Hello Everyone

I have a question. My sister-in-law (lives in Canada) has just received her passport back with COPR and she is planning to do landing on Nov25 through Niagara Falls border. Also my brother got his passport stamped in India.

He cant enter before his wife's landing (told by CIC call center). But how early can he enter Canada after his wife's landing? Can he enter on same day, next day or is there anything he has to wait??

Thanks in advance.

I guess it should be better to wait 2-3 days so that CBSA can sync up with CIC.

Yes agreed on this. Thanks Gurinder. Is there any other document or confirmation he supposed to get after his wife's landing ?

As he might be landing from airport and not he being not in canada.

His COPR and Passport
Marriage Certificate
Address proof of Wife , if he is going to stay in canada as PR card will be delivered there.
Proof of Funds ( Can be asked )

Thanks Gurinder your suggestions are commendable...

Thanks for your appreciation .

But if we keep the syncing factor between CBSA and CIC aside, Would he be eligible to enter in Canada right after his wife's landing or still is there any wait? My question is more about the starting of the eligibility.

Anyone does know about this or had same situation before?
