Usually it takes 2 to 3 weeks to issue PER, sometimes it might take more than 3 weeks. Have patience.

Thanks all for your inputs. The reason why i asked is that is when u get your PER from cic that one can consider you in the train to Canada.

Because that is the main thing, charging is just a step. I said this because i applied last year and my application was refused some months after the cc has been charged stating the reason for my refusal.so when they deduct money, they dont do a critical checking i think , is when they want to send positive eligibility response to the applicant that they do a thorough and painstaking checking on the documents submitted. This is not to scare us but is just want i know.

Buddy you getting the PER doesn't mean that you will get the Visa, check the forum there are many people whose application has been rejected after the PER is generated.

Please do not hasten, after PER u have lot of things medicals u employment verifications etc & some times you might be called for Visa interview too.

Thanks i know . Try and take time to read what i wrote very well before commenting anyhow. i never said getting PER is a pre requisite of getting visa. i just said when you get positive eligibility response from CIC on your application , that means you are in the train .

Please let us try to be positive in all our dealings . As for me am very optimistic by the special grace of God . Negativity is not in my course outline. Thanks.
