When should I apply for a BOWP?

EE PNP Inland applicant here. AOR May 2022. According to CBSA and CSIS notes from Dec 2022, I have an ongoing security screening since Oct 2022. All other stages are completed/passed.

Current WP expires in Nov 2023. Judging by how long BOWP applications are taking according to posts on this forum, would it be wise to apply for a BOWP now in case my PR application possibly drags on past Nov 2023? Am I being too proactive applying for BOWP this far in advance? I meet all the eligibility requirements to apply for a BOWP.

I'll suggest apply within the last 60 days of your current WP = apply in September 2023. you'll always be reassured to have the maintained status and I think the change is high you will get portal mail before Nov 2023.
