When is the right time to pay the citizenship application fee?

Hi everybody,

I am applying for Canada citizenship on Jan. 15th, 2015. I was wondering when the right time is to pay the citizenship fee ($630)? Should I wait until I am eligible to apply (Jan. 15th, 2015), or can I pay the fee right now? I just want to do it few days earlier in order to make sure everything is ready to be mailed on time.

You can pay it anytime as long is the right fee. If you plan to pay online it will take you a minute; if you plan to pay it at bank, make sure you order the forms - it takes 1-2 weeks to get them.
