When I'm eligible to apply CEC?

Hello everyone!
I started with a restaurant on Sept. 4, 2012.
I was promoted to 6311 on Oct. 15,2012.
I took a 48 days holiday in 2013. Other than that, I work full time.

What I figured, I could send out the application on Dec. 2, 2013 to meet the one year work experience requirement. I'm not quite sure about my calculation.

I need seniors' suggestions that when I could send out the application for CEC on a safe side.

Sep 4th - Oct 15th: was that a NOC position too?

If yes, then u can apply earlier.
If No, then I believe your calculation is right.

Also keep some extra days just in case of miscalculation.

EVERY job has a NOC code. But only skill level A, B or 0 codes make you eligible under CEC class.

If yes, then u can apply earlier.
If No, then I believe your calculation is right.

Were the 48 days paid or unpaid? If paid, then you can count those days towards your experience ( and apply on or after October 15th ), unpaid days can't
be counted ( and you'd have to wait until mid December to apply ).

Also keep some extra days just in case of miscalculation.

Second that! Always give it a little breathing room.
