when filling family info form for sds online . how do you sign on the signature column given 3 times

take a print on paper sign then scan and submit

are you sure thats how it should be done because thats also what my agent is telling me to do . but when i searched about it on cic there it was told not to to print and sign just leave the column blank and validate it . after that there will be option to put ur name as signature .

also , does it makes sense . these forms are designed in a way computer can read it it needs to be filled digitally not printed and signed and then uploaded as a scanned copy . computer takes answers from it .
i am eager to know how you row.one and other applicants have done this . i am confused . (india)

I applied through a lawyer in Canada from India. Signed it digitally, she didn't specify anything to me.

Download adobe reader version 8 and above.

i tried doing the same but it says the author of this form has specified the fields that you can fill

You need to open the PDF Document, click on Print / select print as PDF. Save as new pdf document. Now if you open the new doc, it would permit you to sign your document.

As long as it is within the box boundaries its fine. It should not exceed or stick out of the box.

Try creating a separate signature in MS paint or photo shop and save the image as jpg then use it inside the pdf.

Choose the right colour from the color palette (black) to improve quality/brightness.
