I need to know the duration of the visa as a visitor to Canada, which they called the "temporary resident visa"? When does it expires? Like some countries the tourist visa lasts for 90 days, what's the case for Canada?

Lets make clear the difference between the visa and the time you are allowed to be in:
For single entry visas, they seem to be valid for 6 months after they were emitted
For multiple entry it depends on how long the VO decided to extend it for.
For most countries and unless specifically told by the Visa Officer (or through a visitor record document): the time you are allowed to stay on a tourist visa is up to 6 months.
