Hi,

Just need to know if PCC's should be not less than 3 months old from sending Full doc's or from filling application to NS?

I am not very sure but I assume it should to be Local Visa office, in your case, full application to ND.

CIO has a waiting period of 2-3 months, plus 4 months for full application, its proximately 6-7 months in total, I can't see any reason PCC validity related to this session, it should be base on Full application.

Thanks mahharrouf,

ankit from this form refered me to belwo from CIC website

"You may begin to gather your police certificates before submitting your application to the CIO. Although you will not submit the police certificate to the CIO, you must be ready to submit them to a visa office if your application is recommended for further assessment at a Canadian visa office. When you submit the application to the visa office please ensure that your certificates were not issued more than three months before you submitted your application to the CIO."

From this I think I am good with PCC's .. I got all of them in Jan 2010 and I applied to CIO in feb2010.

any thoughts!

Yes, you should be fine, not MORE than 3 months old from date of receipt at CIO-Sydney.

jes_ON thanks!

I was looking for any CIC number where I can ask them this question... does anyone know
I will have my consultant ( in canada) call them.

PCC 3 months lock date is with CIO. When you apply to CIO, the date for PCC gets locked.

This is clearly stated in the application instructions (they were revised in January, make sure you have the newest version). The only problem you could possibly have is if for some reason your first application to CIO is returned. If it is approved, your PCCs are fine.

my application to CIO on 3rd feb was my second application to CIO(re-send) and I got AOR in 40 days ... I started collecting PCC's during my first applictaion to CIO and got all of them were issued in Jan. Now I am all set to send to NEW delhi ... but all the PCCS are expiring in april first week... causing pain in my head!

well, thanks guyz looks like i dont need to take the PCC's again

Just my opinion here even if your PCC expires then it takes 1 days only in New Delhi RPO to get PCC done. Give early in morning and collect in evening.

I have six PCC's ..... four of them are from four different states of US .. and some other ...

It will take me two months to collect all of them again

So, even its your second application, if your PCCs are not older then 3 month at the time of submitting, you should good to go. Good luck.
