When can i apply for visa

I have got admission to one college in Canada for Jan ,2012 batch. Kindly let me know if I can apply for visa in first week of august or if there is any condition like I can only apply for visa in november or after november.

You should not apply more than six months before the start of your program. I would recommend applying no earlier than 3-4 months before the program starts. That's the only general rule I'm aware of with most student visa applications.
