Good day to you kind people,
I have been browsing around this forum for a while trying to collect some information about PR status in general and how to get it, and i found some points very controversial. I think i have only superficial knowledge about this that is why i would like to find out more.
I will describe my situation briefly and i hope somebody will find it similar to the one he/she has and will apply the answers we will get (or not ) here somehow for the own benefit.
So....very briefly...
I arrived to Canada slightly more than 2 years ago and since that i have been having a study permit. Since 2008 i have been studying in the same university, took English courses first (i believe it does not count as it is not an academic program), then Pre-masters and finally Master of Business Administration. I guess it is also worth to mention that all together the -Pre and masters program is 16 months long. Now I am in the middle of my internship with the off campus WP at hand which will be valid till May, as well as SP. After the graduation we have been promised to get WP for 3 years. So thats the story at a glance so far.
And the questions are: Will i be able to apply for PR without having a job? Is 2 years of studying in Canada and Masters Degree enough to get it?
Thank You all, hope this will trigger some discussion and bunch of links to governmental websites ;D
