whats the procedure for notifying Mississauga about new address?

So me and my family have just moved from UK to BC. Outland app sent a month ago, how do i notify cic about the move. i don't have a cic number yet. can i just email them my name or do i need to send them a letter?

Are you able to have your mail re-directed? The silly thing is CIC are not able to do anything unless they have opened your application..You can fax them and use you fees receipt number, Sponsors full name & Date of Birth to identify yourself. Its possible CPC-M may have opened your file by now..They are on applications for 31st August..but that date will change tomorrow..most likely to 6 Sept..

Yes i've set up mail redirection from UK to BC. I guess what you are saying is it's hard to change my address until i get a cic number to efer to?

That's right. The application is sitting in a huge pile, unopened. Until you're in their system, there's nothing for them to update.
