I started my case with CIC Sydney in JANUARY 2009, in MAY 2009 i got a letter from Pretoria office saying they have received my case (I.E For PR immigration) and soon after we sent proof of funds with police checks and basically everything else.
In DECEMBER Last Year we submitted medicals. Soon after in JANUARY this year they requested proof of funds AGAIN and police check for my 17 year old (soon to be 18) daughter. i think they may have requested police check up because there was some confusion on her birth certificate as she has a different mother from the rest of my children but on some of her other documents it states that she has the same mother. We submitted those documents without fail within 90 hours of them requesting... Its Been Exactly 5 Months today Since we submitted out medicals. and it has also been over 9 or 10 months since we submitted our police checks, i got another 17 year old son who in November will turn 18!
1 - since the long time period, will CIC request our Police Checks Again (Not that it is any problem)?
2 - Will My 17 year old son also have to send a police check?
3 - Its Been 15 months since i applied to CIC and 11 Months since Pretoria Office received my case plus also 5 months since medicals were submitted, is this normal (for the long periods of silence)?
4 - Could the Un-Clarity of my daughter's documents have caused the silence from CIC for such a long time?
5 - What is the average time that Canada visa takes to process a case after medicals?
Please help! I Am using a lawyer who i asked to send a case specific inquiry but he declined so i sent one anyway about 3 weeks ago and still no word! all my documents (apart from daughter small mishap) were straight, we are a health family and i don't think it could be because of medical results.
6 - Could CIC still decline my application at this stage because of the un-clarity of one daughter's documents?
we have already started selling property and are just waiting to be called for passport stamping.
ANY HELP WILL BE GREAT-FULLY ACCEPTED. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE
I know its a lot to read but i got nowhere else to go and waiting for results which don't seem to arrive is very depressing
