Interesting read.

Interesting, I always wondered about US border agency though, to what kind of information they have access.
I remember being asked where I worked and what my position was while being processed at the US border, officer was staring at the monitor meanwhile (to see if I lie or not?).
Do they really know where I work, how much money I make etc..? A bit scary :o

P.S.
I am Canadian and was visiting my US wife when this happened.

Interesting article. Thanks

o6ocpaka Canada must have similar system/access because they always ask me where I work, position and such each time I go though. I am US citizen visiting Canada.

So you think another country has a complete access to information stored in agencies like CRA? Right at the border, through their computers?

No they don't , they only share criminal records . U.S can't see anything unless it was provided by Canada and vice versa

The CRA does NOT share information with ANYBODY, not even other Canadian government offices.

No I was thinking more along the line that they ask similar questions each time you cross and take note of your answers to compare. If you answered random different positions (Doctor, Lawyer, waiter etc) each time you visited you may give them a red flag.
